Based on the use case above, I think you will need the following Trigger and Actions:

Triggers

  1. Contact Updated
  2. New Contact

Actions
  1. Search Contact
  2. Updated Contact

Did I miss anything out?

OTHER USE CASES

Our organization uses Contact Lists  (Constant Contact) to indicate who has requested to receive what communication from us (i.e., monthly newsletter, special events communications, volunteer communications, etc.). We would like to have this information accessible on the Contact object on Salesforce. (i.e, who is subscribed to receive what email, and which emails have been sent out to specific contacts)

Use Case 1:

Not sure if this would be possible but it would be nice to have something like

Trigger: Updated Contact (on Salesforce)

Action: Remove/Add Contact from List/Update List (on Constant Contact)

Use Case 2:

Trigger: Email sent (on Constant Contact)

Action: Email is logged under Activity History (on Salesforce)

A big setback in staying with Constant Contact while on Salesforce has been the lack of available integrations. Those that exist are extremely limited in long-term efficiency so we are very excited that Workato is planning on adding Constant Contact to their repertoire.

Thanks Jaimie for sharing this with us. I will escalate this to the team and let you know if there are any updates. Cheers!
