Point of information regarding QuickBooks Desktop. Intuit Sync Manager will be going away next year (~Q1 2016). Here is a definitive article on the subject; http://www.sleeter.com/blog/2013/11/quickbooks-software-integration/  There are a large number of customers using integrations by other providers that rely on Sync Manager to pass data into the QB Deskto REST API. However with Sync Manager going away, these customers will soon be looking for other solutions to port their current QB Desktop integration. Any connectivity (Workato dev team!), therefore, would need to be provided using the QuickBooks SDK, which Intuit still plans on supporting.

Thank you for considering this. I just had a conversation with QBOnline. They do not yet support the elements a Contractor needs, such as Jobs, progress invoicing, P&L by job.
