Rerun More Than 10 Failed Jobs at a Time

It would be great to be able to rerun more than 10 failed jobs at a time.  It is very time consuming to page though and "select all" jobs and then click Rerun on each page.

If the user could simply have the option to display more than 10 jobs on a page, that would possibly solve the issue. On another note, it would be great to be able to display more than 10 jobs on a page for other reasons as well.

I completely agree with you on this. I am working internally to see how we can achieve this.

Manually rerunning failed jobs 10 at a time is further complicated by another problem, where the Jobs tab sometimes blocks further reruns with an error, "Job history view is out of date, please refresh the page before repeating". In my case I started a recipe which completed over 90,000 jobs successfully over a few days with 1,000 failures, and I need to re-run the failed jobs so I can figure out whether there are any new failures caused by different errors.

On average, with rerun processing times, page refreshes and dealing with the "Job history view is out of date", it takes almost 30 seconds to successfully rerun 10 jobs. Spending an hour to manually rerun 1,000 failed jobs is not a great use of anyone's time.

It seems like it's been several months since an update was made on this idea. As a quick workaround, can Workato at least make the page size a configurable parameter in the URL or elsewhere? At least this way for advanced users we can change the page size and rerun perhaps 100 or even 1,000 failed jobs at a time.

Hi Rapid7, thank you for your feedback on the job reruns. At the moment, we do not have a feature available to rerun more than 10 jobs manually on a page. However, as a workaround, you can create a recipe to rerun failed jobs using RecipeOps by Workato. If you wish to simply rerun a large amount of jobs, you can create a recipe to search for the failed jobs of the specific recipe then rerun these jobs based on the list of search results returned.

Let us know if this works for you.

Thanks Amanda, this is very painful and seems like an easy fix to have a select all vs just selecting just what's on the page. Please prioritize.

Thanks for the suggestion Amanda, worked well for me and was a simple recipe to create. Currently running through failed recipes and retriggering every 3 hours so batches of 1000 can process.
