Your formulas are very powerful but are a disaster to use, debug, and to implement. Your documentation on the formulas is an even bigger disaster. I would tell you to copy how salesforce does it as I think they are amazing at this:
1. very strong documentation. Each formula should have several real examples
2. formula editor that will help you figure out what the issue is with your formula
3. Better help from your support agents. Some of your support people seem like they aren't very good with the formulas at all. If you need help it seems like they just guess at what will fix it.
In my opinion this is one of the most powerful features you guys have but it needs to be way more user friendly.
