Enable Official Connected App in Salesforce for Workato
Since Spring 15, Salesforce has provided the ability to lock down all API access except for whitelisted Connected Apps: http://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring15/release-notes/rn_forcecom_security_api_control.htm. An official Workato Connected App for Salesforce would allow Administrators to make sure that only specific Profiles have access to Workato and those specific Profiles only have API access through Workato and other approved Connected Apps for those Profiles. At the moment, our Workato integration user has general API access enabled, which means the integration user could potentially connect to any API service regardless of whether it's been explicitly approved by the Administrator.
