Retrieve App Instance Details Within a Recipe

Within the recipe, I want to be able to query a recipe details using the Workato admin and it would return a list of connection attributes, like name, URL, etc.

I'm currently going through a production ready process that will include monitoring connections as well as recipes. As part of that exercise, I need to create an end point outage monitor so that if a recipe fails, upon failure it can check an outage table with the end point to see if that the reference system down for maintenance.

In the absence of a checker, I have to manually manage that effort. It doesn't lend to a supportable production ready process if that is the case.

Hi Paul,

I've consulted the engineering team about this. They want to know if it would be sufficient to expose the connection name as you have named it in Workato? They can add this to the Workato Admin app action.

Yes, that would be fine.
