QuickBooks Backup

I'm helping a non-profit integrate QuickBooks and Salesforce. The founder of the organization has asked me to ensure their QuickBooks data is protected before I set up the integration. I'm extremely disappointed with QuickBooks Online because they don't have a way to backup user data.

We only need to push data from Quickbooks to Salesforce and not the other way. For this reason, I'm not really concerned but I wanted to poll the community to get your thoughts on this. Is there any chance the Workato integration could cause any Data Corruption within QuickBooks?

Hi Stewart, the quick answer to this question is no, Workato integration will not cause any data corruption within Quickbooks.

The long answer is that it really depends what kind of actions you choose to use within your Workato integration recipe. If you use actions which modify data fields within Quickbooks then there is the potential to corrupt the data within your Quickbooks instance. However, there shouldn't be an issue if you stick strictly to actions which only retrieve data from Quickbooks.

Hope this helps!
