Is there an option to use the trigger input in later steps? Example: If I input a google calendar ID into a new / updated google calendar trigger I want to use that information in later steps.

Hi Scott!
While we do not have a built in feature to give trigger input as a data pill, there is a work-around. In general, you can add an account property. Click on the dropdown next to your name in your Workato account, and you will see the "Properties" option. This will allow you to create input that will be available as data pills in any of your recipes.
For the Calendar ID though, I believe it should already be available in the output of the trigger. You can refer to the following screenshot:

Thanks for the helpful thoughts. I believe my issue with the calendar ID is that your output ID isn't the same as the ID provided by google. As an example if I input the ID from google [email protected] your output is [email protected]. So I may have to do some reworking of my data to get your ID output so I can make my dynamic fields work correctly.
On a side note, where are my forums currently listed. With your redesign I can find the page where it has my forum posts.

Oh I see. I can check on that and get back to you.
Our team is still working on the Success Center. I've raised that issue up to them and they will be working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I have attempted to use the calendar unique ID data as the over all calendar trigger ID. This only creates a 404 error by using that output link as the calendar address in the trigger step. Do you have any easy suggestion how I can relate the input to the calendar unique ID. My only thoughts are either a lookup table or create an additional filed in quickbase. Neither one is ideal so I wanted to ask the suggestion. Also, the property option would be complicated.

Hi Scott,
I've checked with the product team and they told me that the Calendar ID is not actually provided in the API of Google. The ID given there is the "iCalUID" which is used for importing events. Was there a particular reason that you needed the ID itself? Are the picklists insufficient?

I needed the ID for a search step In the search step I wanted to use the inputted calendar ID to search for the person connected to the ID. This is important because I needed to create 75 separate recipes to trigger new / updated in google calendar. I have a development recipe and 75 production recipes. The hope was to use the ID from the trigger step so that any time I update the development recipe I don't have to change multiple steps when updating the production recipes. Does that make sense?

Hi Scott,
I've relayed that information to the product team and they pushed out a fix to include the Calendar ID from the input in the trigger output. Do check and let us know if it works!
