Hi Becky,
Thanks for reaching out! You can avoid this by using the Field lists in Salesforce. You can see more information about that here: http://docs.workato.com/connectors/salesforce.html#prevent-schema-errors-with-fields-list
Ah. Great to know. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have this same question/issue and the link above no longer works, and I can't find the appropriate documentation of "field lists".
Hi John,
Many of our Salesforce triggers and actions have this Fields dropdown which contains a list of the fields you have in Salesforce for the specified object. You can select only the fields you need as input and output in the recipe in this list. This helps prevent the need to refresh the schema if an unrelated field was changed in Salesforce because Workato no longer attempts to retrieve all fields in Salesforce. Just take note that you'll need to update the Fields list whenever you need to use another field in Salesforce.
I hope this helps!

Automatic Data Schema Refresh
Workato recipes currently create an error when a change has been made to a Salesforce data schema and the recipe has not been refreshed. If the data schema change does not affect the recipe, it should either keep working or the schema should automatically refresh.
