We support adding comments to any recipe step. This is how you can access the feature:
1.Click on the three dots on the right of a recipe step to bring up the overflow menu
2. Click on "Add comment"

Recipe Step Notes
It would be very helpful to be able to add a note to the steps in recipes, so one could see the overall gist of what the step is doing without having to expand the step to see the details. This feature request could be done in two ways:
Notes field associated with each step (preferred)
Mouse-over help text (helpful, but not nearly as much as the static text of the notes field)
