Workday calls do not have ability to update type attributes?

I am noticing that calls using the Workday connector do not have the ability to update the element attributes. This means that you can't update the reference ID type attributes which basically makes the connector useless. Has anyone else figured out a way around this?

Figured this out with the help of my Workato rep.

To update the ID type, you prepend the id to the value with a colon inbeween. See below:
