Creating and copying recipes

Modified on: Mon, Oct 25, 2021 at 12:09 AM

Creating a Recipe from Scratch

You can create a recipe from scratch very easily.

1)  On the home page (accessible by clicking on the Workato logo on the top left), click on the "Create Recipe" button. We'll get more into the recipe creation process in another article.

Copy an existing recipe

There are 2 quick ways you can copy an existing recipe.

1) You can copy other users' existing Public recipes. Open up a recipe you are interested in and click on the "Use This Recipe" button on the top right. You will then be brought to another page to configure that recipe for your account.

2) You can copy your own recipes by clicking "copy" on your recipe's page as shown below. In this case, the copied recipe's name is changed to add 'Copy of' at the beginning to distinguish it from the original recipe in your account.
