Why can't I see my fields?

Sometimes you may notice that you have a field in your app, but you don't see it in Workato. Most likely it is one of these three issues:


1. A schema refresh is needed. 

When you made changes to your app's fields after a recipe was created, you will notice that they will not show up in that particular recipe. To have the fields show up, stop your recipe, scroll to the bottom of your actions and on the right corner you should see an option that allows you to refresh schema. DOing so will update the recipe to your app's schema


2. Connected to the wrong app instance

Sometimes you may have connected to a sandbox account instead of the production account of your app, and thus certain fields found in your production account may not be in your sandbox. This means that Workato will not be able to pick up those fields unless you are connected to the right account. To edit your connection, you can go to your recipe's connection tab and change the connections.


3. They're under your "optional fields" section

The fields you are looking for may be under the "optional fields" section of the action. You can search the fields within the dropdown for the one you require.
