Quickbooks: New expenses trigger and search action
Currently there are only limited actions or triggers for Quickbooks Expenses:
- Changed Purchase - In fact this triggers on all expenses. Purchase is the old term from earlier versions of Quickbooks
- Search for Check - The searches the expenses but only limits the search for those with the Check type (there are other types that are more commonly used.
This request is to add the following:
- A trigger is badly needed for New Expense (or New Purchase if you want to keep the same naming convention). There are often updates or followon process when new expenses are incurred.
- Search for expenses - This would allow all of the expense types to be found and updated as needed, instead of just Checks (see above)
In our case these could automate about 5,000 transactions per year that the accountant must do manually now.
