Sometimes our jobs timeout. It's very hard to tell whether that's because some other system has suddenly introduced a significant delay, or whether the jobs are normally close to timing out but complete just in time.
To better manage timeouts and the risk of timeouts, it would be very useful to be able to see:
How long each job took (start time & end time, and/or duration)
How long each individual action took
As a further enhancement, it would also be good to receive a warning by email if jobs start getting close to the timeout, so we know to look into it and try to optimise it before we start getting jobs that actually timeout..
so you can actually do this. It's a hidden feature where you have to alter the job url. The support people should be able to tell you. I would post it here but I can't remember. Why don't they just add it as a control that can be turned on and off.
Hi Martin and Jeremy,
In your job report URL, you can append ?timing=true. This exposes a "Timing" tab in each step of your recipe.
