Most apps require that you are connected to them before you can exchange information with them. Notable exceptions are internal workato applications such as the Scheduler and Email app. You may not see all the information for the recipes if you are not connected - such as trigger events, sample data for the input fields on the right.

There are Three ways to connect to the apps:
1. Connections Page
The connections page is accessible from your profile at the top right. Selecting connections will take you to a page with all your connections. You can create a new connection or choose an existing one.
2. While Building a Recipe
You can make your connections while building a recipe, or while customizing a public recipe
Building your own:
- Choose an app you would like to connect to, and click on "connect" when prompted (see gif below). Then when the lightbox appears, select "Add new connection" and simply configure the new connection.
Customizing a public recipe:
- You will be prompted to create a connection if you do not already have one for a particular app which is being used in a public recipe you are installing

Removing a connection
If you realize that you have made a wrong connection, or you would simply like to remove a connection so you can use a new one, simply go back to the connections page, click on the connection you want to remove, and click on "delete". Find out more here.
