One of the key features that we rolled out this month is the ability to make your Workato Recipes callable from other recipes and from any application using HTTP/REST. Get the details on how to create and use Callable Recipes, please visit this blogpost.
Automatically sync data across apps from the past - no more CSV imports, ETL solutions. Further, you can have long running tasks that wait for an event or a time in future. For example, waiting for an invoice to be paid and then notifying your finance team, waiting for answers of a survey to come in before sending the results to the marketing team.
Your business changes and with that your workflows and processes change as well. Recipe Versioning Engine is a powerful versioning capability for Workato Recipes where new versions are automatically created every time a recipe changed. You can easily rollback, upgrade to new versions at any time. Further, for recipes that were built by cloning another recipe, you can easily upgrade the cloned recipe when a new version of the original recipe becomes available.
We understand that IT organizations in large companies need a way to administer all their integrations. Workato’s Aegis is an advanced command and control system through which you can administer all your integrations - both internal and external (like supply chain integrations).
Hybrid cloud integration
There are times when you need to orchestrate your automation across your systems that are part on-premise and part on public cloud. With Workato you can orchestrate your automation across your cloud and on-premise apps with the same level of ease. The first app to be supported for hybrid integration is JIRA Software.
Guaranteed event delivery
When you are integrating with other apps you rely a lot on the APIs they provide and how it handles errors and how reliable they are in general. What this means is that a number of things can go wrong - like the application itself is down, a change they made broke the API, etc. With Workato you are covered as we guarantee that your events will never be missed.
A real-time view of your jobs
Job history used to be an activity log for all job related activities. As a result it showed all jobs completed or failed in the past and did not matter if a failed job was successfully re-run. This has now been changed where the job history now is a real-time snapshot of the status of all your jobs. What this means is that if a failed job was successfully re-run, the error count would be reset and that job would be shown as successful.
Auto-update commands and notifcations
Earlier, when a new version of a command or notification was rolled out existing Workbot users would have to specifically login to workato.com and update the recipe corresponding to the command. Now, anytime a new version of a recipe is rolled out - the commands are automatically updated.
Support for incomplete commands
Earlier Workbot had a hard time understanding if all the 3 parts of a command were not entered. Now, partial commands, like Salesforce show, Zendesk list, are understood and if there are multiple commands that match that - it prompts the user to select from them.
