When a JIRA issue is closed, a matching Salesforce Case will be closed
Conditions can be added to the trigger to execute this Case comments creation in JIRA only when the issue in JIRA meets certain criteria. This can be done with Trigger IF, with an article to assist you on that here
This recipe maintains a link between Salesforce cases and JIRA issues by inserting the JIRA Issue Key into the Salesforce Case description field. The related JIRA issue's description field will also be populated with the Salesforce Case Number.
What this recipe does
A Salesforce Case matching to an JIRA issue that was closed will be closed as well if the below conditions were closed:
1) Status of the JIRA issue is 'Done'
2) Summary of the issue contains the word "SF"
3) Description of the issue contains the words "JIRA issue closed and Salesforce notified"
JIRA Issue trigger conditions
Note that if the JIRA issue does not have the Case Number in its description, and has been synced before (marked by the flag values), It will not be picked up.
The recipe will first search for a Case based on the Case Number found from the JIRA Issue description.
From: determine the date from which we should start processing closed priority issues.
