Things to be done:
1. Setup Workato profile in My App for QBO in QBO Developer console. Link: https://developer.intuit.com/v2/ui#/app/dashboard
2. Setup a connection profile in Workato app connections.
1. Setting up of Workato App in QBO Console
a. Go to https://developer.intuit.com/v2/ui#/app/dashboard then click 'Create new app'.
b. Click on Select APIs under 'Just Start Coding'.
c. Pick the Quickbooks functions you need then click 'Create App'. For this guide, we will be using Accounting.
d. After creating an app, you will be prompt on this page.
e. Under Keys, you can retrieve your Sandbox Client ID/Client Secret and Production Client ID/Client Secret. For this guide, let's use Sandbox credentials.
f. On the same webpage, you need to set the Redirect URI to https://www.workato.com/oauth/callback. Then, click save.
2. Setting up of App connection profile in Workato.
a. Your Application connection profile should look like this. (Please see image below).
b. Please see the ff information needed.
Authentication Type: authorization code grant)
Oauth2 URL(For accounting): https://appcenter.intuit.com/connect/oauth2?response_type=code&scope=com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting
Client ID and Client Secret should be provided in your App > Keys mentioned in Step 1.e.
c. After filling up the App connection profile, click 'Link Your Account'.
d. A popup will appear asking you to log in and give permission to Workato.
e. After clicking Connect, that would finish the connection steps you need connecting Workato to your QBO instance.
